- MDBL 1 Reel : Diocesan Documents 1810-1861
Letters, minutes, and other manuscripts labeled "Diocesan Documents" dating 1810-1861 consisting of (1) November 19, 1810 meeting minutes of a Provincial Council (?); (2) a sale of property agreement dated May 27, 1811 according to which Stephen Theodore Badin purchased land from Robert Todd in Lexington, Kentucky; (3) "Original Accounts with Bishop Chabrat" from 1835-1836 for food, clothing, and other items; and (4) other documents in Latin; and (5) "Roman Correspondence", that is, letters from the Propaganda Fide, written in Latin, from 1817-1838, arranged primarily by date.
- MDBL 2 Reel : Letterbook of Bishop Benedict Flaget and Records of St. Francis Xavier Church 1828-1912
One book which is primarily a letterbook of Bishop Flaget containing dates, notes and some actual copies of letters relating to St. Joseph's College, Bardstown dating from December 6, 1828 to May 1837. The book continues on as records of St. Francis Xavier Church, Raywick, Marion County, Kentucky consisting of a "waste book" with accounts from 1846 and 1912, catechism class rosters from 1871, and baptisms from 1871 and 1872. The reel was filmed by the Microfilm Center at the University of Kentucky.

Four bound volumes of letters from Bishop Benedict Flaget to St. Sulpice Seminary in Paris. The letters are in French, mostly handwritten, although there are a few typed transcripts, and span the dates 1808-1850. These letters were filmed in St. Louis, Missouri.

(1) An alphabetical index to letters received by Reverend Joseph Haseltine of the Diocese of Bardstown-Louisville, Kentucky compiled by Francis Clark; (2) the letters themselves, which span the years 1823-48; (3) miscellaneous items including a timeline of when Reverend Haseltine received his sacraments, a record of his family, and a list of books he had which had belonged to Bishop Flaget.

(1) letters to and from Reverends Stephen Badin, John Walsh, John Spalding, J. Chabrat, L. Tessier, and William McCloskey, among others, spanning the dates 1811-1887, including a letter from Reverend J. Spalding written July 24, 1876 while he was in London describing his journey and plans; letters from Reverend J. Spalding to his parents spanning the dates 1857-1874; and letters to the Abbey of Gethsemani in Nelson County, Kentucky; (2) various statements including a certification of clergy (Francis Lawler (?), John Walther January 21, 1831, and M. Spalding January 1835) by Bishops Chabrat and Flaget; a statement regarding the incorporation of Louisville dated March 2, 1844; a statement from the Abbey of Gethsemani regarding the instruction of children dated November 25, 1887; statements in Latin regarding Reverends Flaget and Chabrat; and a statement of Reverend Nerinckx dated October 2, 1812 to "All Catholics or Others" regarding the taking of subscribers to build a school; (3) record of subscribers to the Louisville Cathedral dated April 8, 1849 [this list of subscribers is also found in the Diocese of Bardstown Papers at the University of Notre Dame Archives]; (4) farewell address to the Sisters of Loretto by Reverend Nerinckx dated May 29, 1824, and; (5) Reverend Badin's Last Will and Testament dated August 1, 1840.

Clergy Book listing the priests ordained by the Most Reverend J.A. Floersh from June 29, 1923 through May 27, 1961. It is in Latin and was filmed by Francis Clark on July 10, 1961.
- MDBL 9 Reel : Biographical Information from Priests 1915
Consists of letters from priests of the Diocese responding to Rev Louis G. Deppen's circular of 21 October 1915 requesting biographical information and lists of previous assignments. Deppen was editor of the Louisville Record and sought biographical information for future obituaries.
